“A Day in the Life” is a coding and compliance program that we developed to track daily activities, measuring case time, supporting documentation, billing, and medical direction of residents and CRNA’s. We determine if the crosswalk from surgical code to anesthesia code is appropriate, if there was an opportunity to bill add-on codes, and if modifiers were applied correctly.
