Helen Hadley | Founder & CEO
Helen Hadley is Founder and CEO of VantagePoint. She has more than 35 years experience in the healthcare industry and has been the driving force behind VantagePoint’s vision. Ms. Hadley built the company by embracing her personal philosophy of hiring the best of the best to help VantagePoint’s clients succeed and grow. Ms. Hadley began her career in Practice Administration and she was employed in private practice, hospitals, and practice management companies prior to founding VantagePoint in 1994. She also grew and sold other healthcare services companies during her career.
Ms. Hadley continues to be actively involved with clients by directing multiple consultants and projects in a variety of healthcare organizations. As a member of her talented team, Ms. Hadley helps clients with strategic planning, developing best practices, and incorporating patient-centered care into the business of medicine.
She has made presentations on various healthcare management topics throughout the United States and has been published in management journals.
Ms. Hadley is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, serves on multiple boards, and is an advisor to other healthcare companies.
Susan Prior | President & COO
Susan Prior, CHC, is President & Chief Operating Officer of VantagePoint. She is responsible for VantagePoint’s daily operations and for developing growth strategies.
Over her twenty year career, Ms. Prior has served as a Director for a nationally recognized chain of nutrition centers and in executive positions in various academic hospital systems, medical practices, and practice management companies.
Ms. Prior’s diverse background positions her to assist clients with strategic planning, negotiating contracts, establishing business analytics, and improving operations. She works with a variety of clients including private practices, integrated health systems, ASCs, LTACs, and IDTFs. Her focus has been with hospital-based physician groups and the challenges they face from operational, reimbursement, and regulatory perspectives. This work led her to become certified in healthcare compliance.
Ms. Prior graduated from the University of Connecticut. She currently serves on the Board of the Connecticut chapter of the Health Financial Management Association and the Board of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

REGINA ALEXANDER | SENIOR CONSULTANT & DIRECTOR, INDEPENDENT REVIEW ORGANIZATION SERVICES
An accomplished revenue cycle and healthcare compliance leader, Ms. Alexander leverages over 20 years serving in diverse roles across the continuum of care in service to VantagePoint clients. Prior to joining VantagePoint in 2017, her most recent prior roles included Director of Health Information Management (HIM) and Privacy Officer for a community hospital, Associate Director of HIM for a large health system, and Senior Product Manager/Medicare Advantage for a regional health plan. Ms. Alexander’s experience on the payer side of the industry affords unique and practical insights regarding potential operational and revenue cycle process improvements on provider side. Her areas of expertise include Medicare and Medicaid payment policy, regulatory compliance, HIPAA, HIM, revenue cycle management, claims review, rapid-cycle process improvement, and Home Health & Hospice diagnosis coding.
Ms. Alexander’s credentials include certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association. She holds current certifications as a Home Care Coding Specialist (HCS-H and HCS-D) through the Association of Home Care Coding and Compliance (AHCC). She is also a board certified fellow (FACHE) in healthcare management through the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from The George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor of Science, Health Administration- Long Term Care from the University of Phoenix.
CHRISTA BERNACCHIA | DIRECTOR, CREDENTIALING SERVICES
Christa Bernacchia is the Director of Credentialing Services at VantagePoint where she manages a team of credentialing specialists and is responsible for the overall vision of the Credentialing Department including the organization’s NCQA Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) certification.
Ms. Bernacchia is an accomplished healthcare professional and problem-solver with two decades of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on credentialing, re-credentialing, privileging, enrollment, accreditation and quality improvement. She has proven expertise in developing relationships, project planning and implementation, and workflow redesign to improve efficiencies and quality.
Prior to joining VantagePoint Ms. Bernacchia worked for a staff model HMO where she managed all internal credentialing including primary source verification, privileging, Joint Commission accreditation, and emergency planning efforts. She also worked in the insurance industry as a quality improvement analyst at a Consumer Oriented Operated Plan (“CO-OP”) health plan overseeing activities and projects related to provider and facility credentialing, vendor oversight, member and provider experience and NCQA accreditation.
Ms. Bernacchia is a summa cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac College with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications.
LEE ANN DANGELO | SENIOR CONSULTANT
Ms. Dangelo is a healthcare professional with a history of success in leadership and practice administration. She served as an Executive Director and Practice Administrator at several practices in various specialties. Additionally, she worked in an academic hospital setting as an Associate Administrator. Prior to joining VantagePoint, Ms. Dangelo ran a successful healthcare consulting business servicing medical practices, physical therapy practices, and hospitals.
Ms Dangelo utilizes her skills as an innovative thinker to increase profits, surpass operating goals, resolve conflict, and improve staff morale. Her hands-on expertise includes strategic planning, workflow re-engineering and leadership coaching. She excels at developing collaborative relationships with colleagues, providers, patients, and staff.
Ms. Dangelo received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Hartford. She received her Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in Healthcare Management and Accounting. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and has completed training in Six Sigma at the Green Belt Level for Healthcare. She is a founding member of Women Executives in Healthcare, a not-for-profit organization in Connecticut.
JUDITH M. FOX | SENIOR CONSULTANT
As a seasoned compliance officer and attorney with 30 years of experience in the health care industry, Judith has consistently demonstrated her depth of health care regulatory and compliance expertise assisting providers evolve proactively and execute reactively.
As an experienced Chief Compliance Officer, her healthcare industry knowledge and hands-on approach has successfully rolled out compliance and privacy programs, performed Compliance Program Effectiveness Reviews, and lead project teams supporting providers involved in government enforcement activities including CIAs. As a compliance consultant, Judith draws upon her compliance, legal and executive experience working with a wide variety of providers including complex integrated systems, managed care organizations, long term care providers and physician practice groups.
Ms. Fox’s credentials include a law degree from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a specialty in Healthcare Planning, Policy and Administration from New York University. She attended SUNY at Buffalo earning her BA.She is certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) and is a long-standing member of the Health Care Compliance Association,Florida Bar and American Health Lawyers Association.

Mr. Hadley manages VantagePoint's IT infrastructure with a focus on cyber security and compliance.
As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Mr. Hadley assists clients with identifying risks and accomplishing risk management goals pertaining to cyber and information security.
As a Certified HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP), Mr. Hadley assists clients in performing HIPAA Security Assessments and Risk Analyses with a focus on implementing practical measures to manage and reduce the risk of losing protected data.

CATHERINE JORDAN | SENIOR CONSULTANT
Catherine Jordan, MSA, RN, LNCC brings over thirty years of healthcare experience to VantagePoint. Her extensive background in the medical field encompasses both clinical and executive roles, and she uses these experiences to effectively execute change in hospitals, non-profits, and physician groups. Ms. Jordan specializes in strategic planning, financial management, systems analysis, project development and quality improvement.
Ms. Jordan focuses on healthcare compliance, and routinely works with medical and dental clients to assess risk management, review and assess clinical documentation, and to improve clinical service delivery. On behalf of clients, she works closely with their legal counsel on government and payer audits, interpreting and assessing medical records. Her abilities to effectively communicate and problem solve, along with her understanding of client issues on a clinical level enable Ms. Jordan to continuously exceed client expectations.
Ms. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master of Science Degree in Health Administration. She is a licensed Registered Nurse in Connecticut and New York, and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (AALNC).
CHERYL KRUSCH | DIRECTOR, CODING & CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION IMPROVEMENT
Cheryl Krusch, LPN, CPC, CPMA, ICDCT-CM is Director of Coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement at VantagePoint where she manages a team of coding and auditing specialists. She has been in the healthcare field for 30+ years, with extensive experience working in physician private practice, facilities and insurance carriers. Her focus is clinical documentation auditing, training of coders and billers, and physician education on accurate coding and documentation.
Prior to joining VantagePoint, Ms. Krusch was Clinical Coordinator for the Connecticut State Medical Society-IPA. She was responsible for quality initiatives, the integrity of the IPA utilization management database, analysis of network practitioner data in support of quality measures, and the enhancement of utilization management programs through code-specific data analysis. In addition, Ms. Krusch developed effective educational tools and provided direct support to provider groups in the area of AMA/CPT guidelines for documentation and coding. She also was the Director of Coding and most recently Coding Compliance Administrator for a large billing, revenue cycle management company in Connecticut.
Ms. Krusch began her career as a nurse with experience in hospital, nursing home and private physician office settings. Prior to joining the Medical Society team, she worked for two national health plans. Her roles included manager of the Prior Authorization Department and Vendor Service Manager. Her experience included coordination of the authorization request process in conjunction with medical directors and case managers, development of performance standards, creation of centralized data repositories related to vendor services; and training and supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff.
NANCY LEVITT-ROSENTHAL | SENIOR CONSULTANT
Ms. Levitt-Rosenthal joined VantagePoint HealthCare Advisors after nearly 27 years as a Vice President and Senior Vice President of Yale New Haven Health System/Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut. In her dual roles, she was part of the YNHHS strategy team, and led all system-wide regulatory planning including Certificate of Need (CON) initiatives. Prior roles include Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at UnityPoint Health (formerly Iowa Health Systems), and Senior Research Analyst at Market Opinion Research in Detroit. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, marketing, business development, physician relations, and hospital operations management.
Ms. Levitt-Rosenthal is board certified in healthcare management through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and holds the credential of Fellow (FACHE). She is a former national ACHE Regent and served as the Connecticut Chapter President. She is as a faculty member in the Health Administration program at the University of New Haven and serves on a number of community and professional boards and committees. Ms. Levitt-Rosenthal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
MARY REICHERT | DIRECTOR, FINANCE
Ms. Reichert is Director of Finance at VantagePoint. She has specialized in revenue cycle management for the past twenty years. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Reichert spent several years as the Controller and Director of Physician Billing at a healthcare services organization. She has also served as a Director of Business Operations for a hospital, overseeing the MSO division of the hospital-based physician group.
Ms. Reichert relies on her strong finance, actuarial and tax background to improve and streamline financial operations in healthcare entities. She has extensive experience assessing the financial stability of various healthcare organizations, creates new compensation models, and develops and implements budgets to improve the financial health of clients. She has built and managed various revenue cycle departments and business offices for hospitals and physician groups.
A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Ms. Reichert is also a certified public accountant.
BARBARA SULLIVAN | SENIOR CONSULTANT
As a VantagePoint Senior Consultant, Ms. Sullivan serves as a reimbursement expert for both physician-based and hospital-based billing. Her knowledge and expertise of payer rules, reimbursement methodologies, and government requirements positions her to assist clients’ revenue cycle challenges. She has assisted clients in managing revenue cycle departments, implementing accounts receivable software solutions, and uncovering presumably lost revenue.
Prior to joining VantagePoint, Ms. Sullivan served in both line and leadership positions in patient accounts at several Connecticut hospitals. Her focus was on the improvement of cash flow through re-engineering the work processes and implementation of cutting-edge technological resources.

JOHN WILLIAMS | DIRECTOR, MARKETING
Mr. Williams manages marketing strategy and execution for VantagePoint, drawing on a background in creative communications. He is responsible for projecting the VantagePoint brand and market position through print collateral, advertising and publicity.
During his career, John has worked independently, with other marketing professionals, and as a team leader to complete award-winning projects in both digital and print media. In addition to work performed for clients in the healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical industries, he has served a wide variety of other commercial and social concerns, including manufacturers, services, consultants, philanthropies and arts organizations. John's expertise is especially deep in the areas of project management, client liaison, graphic design, copywriting and art direction.
